The Hammer Pant 2009 Runway Remix

The Hammer pant has been brought back into a new runway chic style called the Harem Pant. The updated style was seen in many different versions through out falls runway shows including Ralph Lauren's, Michael Kors, Jill Stuart, Burberry, and Alexander Wang. They have also been sported by many fashion forward celeberties including Fergie, Rihanna, Diane Kruger, and Ciara.
For a more affordable, less extreme version of these loose-fitting pants that is not as much of risk and not so baggy try Bella Matto’s in black ($66) shown in the second picture above. Bella Matto’s Harem Pant is cropped below the knee for a flattering fit and they are really comfy. Pair them with killer heels and a trendy blazer to get your own runway style look.
